Work with a pro

Leaders want a trusted advisor, someone who has walked the path.

We look to experts to navigate our health or other high-stakes areas of life. Why don’t we seek experts to help us on our leadership journey?

My name is Kathy Wu Brady and I have over 20 years of executive experience:

  • Launching new businesses (4x)

  • Revamping staid operations (3x)

  • Accelerating the growth of early and mid-stage organizations (2x)

  • 2x CEO, 2x COO

I have a breadth of experience that I can draw upon to support your goals: multiple industries (technology, social impact, news and media, and e-commerce) and various functions (business development, technology and product management, project management, marketing, and human resources).

I’ve hired and developed hundreds of professionals, many of whom have gone on to C-level roles or carved out fulfilling paths unrelated to climbing the corporate ladder.

My approach strikes a balance between pushing boundaries and employing compassionate practices. Above all else, I am committed to helping my clients achieve lasting results by providing practical and effective solutions they can maintain long-term.

Let’s get personal

I am a daughter of industrious immigrants, a granddaughter of resilient refugees, partner to a modern renaissance man, and parent to 2 precocious young adults.

I was motivated at an early age to achieve financial freedom as early as possible while modestly up-leveling my lifestyle.

I am a bridge builder and a generalist.

I incorporate a systems and human-centered perspective when I tackle any issue.

I studied engineering and finance and am an Ivy League graduate who doesn’t believe college is essential.

I aspired to become an artist at 5, but put that aside to prioritize my financial goals. After 25+ years of work, I now am pursuing my art obsession. (You can find my work on Instagram: @kwubrady)

I believe anyone committed to mindfulness, value creation, and community building can change the world.

  • I have worked with senior executives, including founders and C-suite leaders, as well as VPs and Directors. I also have coached rising leaders and new managers.

Perhaps more important than your level or role is whether the kinds of expertise I bring are relevant to where you want to grow or shift.

  • Short answer: I am flexible.

For 1:1 engagements, I find that we can typically make significant progress on a particular challenge in 2-6 months depending upon the complexity of the issue. Some clients prefer to have a preset window and others prefer to work more ad hoc. We can determine the best path forward when we meet.

For facilitations and speaking events, I recommend a 8-10 week lead time to ensure that we have enough time to collaborate ahead of time to design an event that drives to the outcomes you desire.

  • I do both. I'm based in northern NJ and can easily commute within the tri-state area.

I've also worked internationally and am happy to find a time that works in your time zone.

1:1 clients meet with in a mix of video calls as well as on the phone.

For events, I have extensive experience facilitating virtually or in person in a variety of locations.

  • I provide pricing based on the scope and needs of each client. Let's book a consultation call to find out what is the right design for you.

  • No, for now, the term studio is more of a concept name vs. a literal one.

Studios are where artists and performers go to create, make mistakes, try new techniques, and practice.

Leaders need to do those same things. And so while I don't provide a physical space, KWB Studios is intended to be "a place" where leaders can go to learn, create, play ,and practice.
